Hello,
SO I just got my Ultra Smart 6 Updated to 5.1.1 in the UK and that gives me at least tiny bit of hope for 6.0 reaching our phones. From my side I'd say that it's a good initiative for Vodafone to relese their own branded smartphones which with current specs and great price points are quick sell, however if you guys at Vodafone read this, please remeber that people won't stick to/buy the same device or follow up again if it doesn't get updates quick and constantly, therefore here I am asking you to become first network that sells own branded Android phones that actually are taken care of after the release like it's the case with phones from Samsung, Motorola or Nexus devices. I'm wiling to keep buying them if you'll show support accordingly.Anyways Ultra Smart 6 is a great phone and prompt update to Marshamallow would just be it! #vodalove

Hi there
I'm pleased you like the handset - it has some great specs!.
Please be aware that if Vodafone are planning to update the device to Marshamallow - they won't comment on this as per the firmware statement here. If any announcement is made, it is usually after the roll out of the firmware has started.

I agree with you the phone has some great specs and I've read quite a few posts here from people who are enjoying it. Also some blogs / reviews talk about it in a good light.
In respect to Software / firmware it's very important that this is right and contains as few bugs as possible. Then when Vodafone are passed it they understandably want to ensure no bugs are in it that will affect their branded handsets and nothing clashes with its Networks features.
I think looking at the bigger picture it's good that they do hold onto firmware and test it thoroughly which will mean in some cases it can be a little delayed in being released.
I say to people do you want a rushed out release that may hinder your phone which would have been working ok before the update or do you want a polished firmware with as little bugs as possible that will not hinder you phone.
Take care.

Hi, of course no one wants a rushed out software but by any means, Marshmallow has been out for a couple of months already plus this phone is running nearly a stock experience, so it could have easily been done by now, instead I know life and I give it less than 50% chances that it will ever get 6.0 more like 5.1.1 was released just so that people won't say that it hasn't been updated at all. Again I'm willing to wait tough, so let's see becuase if it gets Marshmallow soon, it will definitely be better than Moto G 2015 and the best smartphone you can get for this money.
