APPLE EXTREME ROUTER---'' Port Forwarding'' on the router

I have just registered and installed a Vodafone Sure signal (3 ). However, it doesn't seem to  connect to the internet., as hoped, through my existing Apple Extreme Router.. Is there a problem of compatiblity between the Sure Signal and the Apple router ?   How is the problem over come ?

 Do I need to confirgure PORT FORWARDING ? .  I have given the Sure Signal a fixed IP address..   What would be the other settings needed in order to allow the Sure Signal  to link with Vodafone via the Apple Extreme Router ?

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.
