Hello, my wife have moved to EE on the 2nd of December 2015 and account closed with Vodafone.
Around March 2016 we got a letter from Vodafone in reagrds account active and in used by someone else, but details was my wife. So we contacted Vodafone and open a Fraud case, matter sorted at the time and moneys refund.

On the 8th of September of 2016, we receive another letter from Vodafone about Overdue Payment - Final Notice. Straight away, contacted Vodafone customer services to found out what is this letter about and why the old account was active again, when we have being inform by Vodafone the account was closed!!!! Then we were inform that a mobile number was active and connected to my wife's old account number!!!! We have open another Fraud case(Fraud Ref: 07770999999) and we requested for the account to be closed and my wife details removed from Vodafone data.
The Vodafone customer service very kind inform that everything was sorted and apologise for the issue(APOLOGIES AGAIN).

Today(10/10/2016) we got a letter from debt collecters agents in regards to the same matter discuss on the 8th of September 2016!!! The old Vodafone account number was supposed to be closed and issue sorted on the 8th of September 2016, doesn't look like it is sorted!!! And by the way, the money request have increase value from £65.17 to £74.95.

My question is very simple, what in hell Vodafone is doing???!!!! We have speak with people at customer service, they inform and guarantee that everything is sorted and then this happen...at the moment, I don't believe a word Vodafone are given us. Just a call of attention, this is the second time this problem happens to wife, not direct to her but the use of her details. We are looking to get our first house mortgage, having a feeling this will get some issues in regards to credit rate, and all down to the very poor customer service Vodafone is provide to us.

Hi,

I'm not surprised yiur upset and frustrated at this.

This is a help guide I have written which explains which department to ask your case to be referred to - i.e 'Vodafone Credit File Support Team' - and how to add a 'Notice of Correction' via Experian. It is Free to add the Notice of Correction. This gives you the tools to add notes on your Credit File to explain why the Default is showing. It would only be worth adding this if you think the default is wrong and shouldn't have been applied. Please take into consideration that a Default will only be removed if it was reported on your Credit File incorrectly.
