Activating Voicemail

Hi,

I am unable to set up voicemail. I have dialled 1211 but get the message "the system is currently unavailable". Can someone please advise? Many Thanks

Dont hold your breath this is my 2nd iphone with no voice mail no one seems to be able to do any thing !! and thats visiting shop aswell as phoning some clown only to be told to take out sim and switch it off  good luck
