Hi everyone, my v2 was recently replaced with a v3 under warranty, I have registered it and all appears ok, all of the lights are lit but the phones that are linked to it don't have a full signal. One is an iPhone 5 with 4/5 bars, and the other is a Nokia Lumia 1020 that is registering 4 bars with H.
My question is - if the SS is working properly, should the handsets that are linked with it show a full 5 bars? Should that also show 3G or 4G?
Thanks for reading.

Hi Gemma
The VSS appears to have stopped working, I have a steady red light and flashing first white light only. Calls are not registering (i.e. the call light doesn't come on when a call is made) and the mobile reception is again temperamental.
I have powered down and powered up the unit, with no change.
What happens now?
Cheers
Danny

Hi dannyyoung,
It hasn't updated with our servers for a few days so I've done a resync for you.
Please do the following reset to complete this process;
1 - Hold the reset button until all 4 lights are solid. Don't let go of the button until step 4
2 - Remove the power cable then the LAN cable
3 - Insert ONLY the power cable
4 - When the lights flash 1, 2, 3 then 4 release the reset button and wait for the unit to boot (5 minutes should do it).
5 - Insert the LAN cable and wait
Let me know how you get on,
Kay

Hi Kay
I have held the reset button in for several minutes, all that happens is the first white light stops flashing so I just have a solid red power light, after a while the first white light starts flashing again, and this cycle continues.
Also there is no power cable as such - this is the version of VSS that plugs straight into the wall, I believe the third version?
The VSS is still plugged in and the first white light is still flashing as before, there is no change.
Please advise what to do next?
thanks
Danny

Hi Danny,
The reset is slightly different reset procedure for the version 3 Sure Signal:
-Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
-Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
-Once the lights come back on, release the button.
I've checked 40133665956 again for you and there's still nothing that flags up.
If you're still unable to test the unit at a friend's house, you can still arrange for a repair. If we find it's a fault with the Sure Signal then we can service or replace it for you.
Cheers, Ben
