Just wanting to gauge how popular the new launch is at present. So we can have an idea if orders will be fulfilled?
Don't mess with stupid people. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I;m all for positive marketing but if Apple keep causing a delay in deliveries to pre-order customers then what's the real point in pre-ordering. It would better for all our nerves to just wait a couple of months for the stock re-alignment (and possible better price plans / deals).
The 6S is only a really minor improvement to the 6 (it terms of design) so would'nt really expect too many people getting excited for it. I totally understand the Apple fans wanted the lastest phone etc but honestly dont think the demand will be anywhere near as high as the 6 (given also most people are on 2 year contract plans).

If there are delays to deliveries they come from two sources - unexpected high demand and/or production problems. No phone manufacturer or network artifically delays the supply of phones.
You are right, it's much better to wait until the initial frenzy has died down before ordering any flagship phone.

Well going on the Apple website alone, it looks like store pick up pre orders have closed now and most of the models are 1-2 weeks dispatch.
Store pick up pre orders resume on the 26th according to their webiste.
