App not compatible with device

I have the vodafone Smart 4 turbo phone, but i cannot get some apps to download as it says device not compatible. The amazon app is one of them, my bank another.
Any suggestions to resolve?

You will have to contact the app developers and ask them to make the apps compatible with your phone. You'll find the contact email address for them in the details of each app.

In the app description they normally advise what firmware they are compatible with. 

Is your phone running the compatible firmware ?
