On my s7 edge I have 4 Microsoft apps that I don't use and never will and as I don't have access to WiFi and won't have for a while it keeps asking me to update but each one is about 65mb x4 it will be a big chunk out of my data so my question is am I putting my phone at risk by not updating them as I don't use them

Hi

No your not putting your phone at risk.

I don't use them.either.

I force stop and disable them.

No worries.  :Smiling:

When i force stop then disable it'll ask if I want to remove or something similar. I press cancel and that'll remove it from your app drawer too.

sorry to bang on about it Lee

You have mentioned your self when disabling apps can cause problems and I said I was convinced that was what caused all my problems in my s5 does any one no for sure if it is safe to disable them because the same warning signs pop up

I'm only saying this again cause I had to put my s5 in for repair and after the disabling fiasco my s5 was never the same

That's the reason I am so worried about my s7 and just to add whilst I was updating my s7 to nougat it froze in accessibility were I could only use my screen with 2 fingers and ended up in repair for 2 weeks (not a nice feeling parting with a brand new s7 edge)
