BT Home Hub 4 Sure Signal 3 - Ethernet issues

Hi,

 

I have my sure signal 3 which for the past 24 hours has seen the power light flashing and the ornage mobile light constant.

 

I managed to open up all of the required ports but can not assign them to the device because the router does not pick up the physical connection on the home network!

 

I have reset the router & sure signal but still get nothing.

 

I know the ethernet ports work as i used them on my laptop and all is fine, but when the sure signal is connected  none of the lights flash to suggest a signal.  

 

I have tried a number of ethernet cables but to no avail!!

 

Can anyone suggest where to go next ??

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.
