V1 SS box is acting the goat. Nothing whatsoever has been changed anywhere but suddenly only lights 1,2 & 4 are on.
I've reset the box several times, as well as the broadband router, but to no avail.
Please advise as this currently leaves me with zero signal at home.

Well I'm pleased to report I'm working again!
I had tried doing this myself yesterday after setting myself up as an administrator and it appeared to execute but didn't work....so this time I got my wife (who is working in France) to delete me from the box and then add me back again and hey presto, its all good. Bottom line is that the box was fine all the time by the look of it....but as my personal session wasn't functional and I was the only user here, I couldn't see that.
Point to note is that the fault symptom quoted by the troubleshooter is slightly misleading; the No3 light is always OFF if there is no data being transmitted. If you send a text for example, you will see the light flash very briefly if the box is working.
Not quite sure how you fix this if you are the main user - guess it means a Call Centre session!

I had the same problem with my new BT Home Hub 4 today.
I solved it by rebooting the Sure Signal but don't plug the network cable back in - just the power cable. Once the Sure Signal has reset itself (after about 10 mins), plug the network cable in.
It's been ok since - fingers crossed!
