Blackberry Classic - 'My Vodafone' app

Hi,

'My Vodafone' app not released for Blackberry Classic. It doesn't appear in the Blackberry World and Amazon Appstore to install from the device. The message is 'Unavailable for this device'.

Yes Adhay I know what you mean 

Because I am using the Blackberry Curve 9320 (although I do not know whether or not you can call this a classic) and although my vodafone application works fine on this particular handset the handset I had before was the exact same make and model that I have now (just a different colour) and although the my vodafone app was in the Blackberry application world in my last phone I had just the same problem that you are having now as it just kept saying not available whenever I tried to download it which is one of the reasons I changed it although I still can not understand why it will download on one phone and not another especially when the phones in question are the exact same make and model?

The app should work fine with your Q10.

If you can let us know exactly what problems you’re having with this we can look into everything further - you’ve above said that it’s not working, but also that it’s not there to download.

Please clarify if you’ve been able to download this now and what problems you’re having

@JamesL – That’s very strange! Please let us know the following:

• Have you tried restarting your phone?
• Did you get the replacement phone from Vodafone or a third party?
• Are you on the latest software version?

Hi Jenny,

I have attached a screenshot, if that helps.

The issue is not for Q10, its for Q20 (its the latest released model called 'Classic'). I'm aware that the app works on Q10.

I have checked it with Blackberry support and informed that the app 'My Vodafone' is required to be amended for Classic/Q20 - to incorpatate the trackpad functionality (OS 10.3).

We've yet to release a date of when this'll be available.

Alternatively, you can log into My Vodafone on your mobile browser.

Its been 5 months since Blackberry Classic released and its availability on the Vodafone network. Still 'My Vodafone' app not released for Blackberry Classic. I would have expected carrier/netowrk specific app should have updated by this time to work on the devices it offer.

I'm sorry, however this app still isn't available on Blackberry.

As mentioned previously, you can keep up to date on our website via My Vodafone.

Thanks for responding but it's not the same problem as you have encountered in the past.

Blackberry Classic (or Q20 as some people refer it) is the very recently released model and available on Vodafone. The 'My Vodafone' app doesn't work as to me it seems more of a technical issue (and probably need to amend it to work with BlackBerry Classic touchscreen/keyboard-trackpad combination).

So, I hope someone from the Vodafone technical team can clarify/fix.
