Bypass the Vodafone router web interface

Hi, does anyone know how to bypass the JavaScript password validation for the WiFi network in the Vodaone router web interface? 

It helpfully insists on lower / upper / numbers / chars etc. My existing network password doesn't have all those so the routers web admin tool won't accept it. Really can do with out having to change the wifi password on all the devices and wifi extenders in the house!

It's the Huawei HHG2500.

Have you tried changing it through the mobile app?

I think that's what I did before I connected any other devices to it, and I set my password to all lower case with no numbers or special characters.
