Caller ID stopped working on my incoming calls on Apple iPhone 5s

 

For some reason Caller ID has stopped working on my incoming calls - I am not aware that I have changed anything in my phone that would cause this - can you advise please ?

Hi

 

 

Make sure none of your contacts are duplicated in the Contacts App 

 

If none are then reset your iPhone. 

 

On the iPhone hold down the Sleep/Wake Button and Home button together until the Apple Logo shows. Then On seeing this Apple Logo release both buttons ,and the iPhone will reset , which has been known to clear most glitches.

 

Settings -> General-> Reset -> Reset All Settings.

I don't want to see my own caller ID !!

 

I mean it doesnt match up numbers in my contact lists to names - it just shows the number.

If the resets do not help along with Settings -> General-> Reset -> Reset Network Settings then please contact Customer service on 191 or Live Chat and they can check your account for you.

That appears to have resolved the problem thank you.

 

I would rather stick my head in a blender than call your support staff on 191 or even think about a support chat....utterly useless and on occasion down right offensive. Do they know they work at a call centre or are they under the illusion they are more important than anyone else ?

Hi,

 

Good to hear that resolved the issue. 

 

Just to note that I am also a Customer just like you.

 

Anyone that works for Vodafone have the logo next to their name.
