Can I change from my SIM only plan to a new pay monthly phone contract plan mid term?

Hi, not sure if anyone can advise. I have a SIM only plan (24 mnths) and I'm apprx half way through it (i think) and I wondered if its possible to change this and take out and start a new pay monthly contract as my old phone is now a bit tired out and wanted a new handset and contract?  I'm assuming if the switch is more costly £'s to me then this may be possible but I cant find an answer on the online help or here on previous posts? Thanks

Hi @Ryderfly

SIM only contracts are for 12 months only not 24 months, it may be worth checking your contract end date from the My Vodafone Application.  Take a look at the link below for flexible upgrades where you will be able to upgrade after 3 months with the remaining time left on the SIM only written off by Vodafone.

If you are on a full contract, depending on when the contract was taken out the flexi upgrade option may apply.

The best thing to do is to give Upgrades a call or visit a store to see what can be done for you.

If you're on a sim only, you'll be able to upgrade to a phone plan after the first three months so I'd say you're good to go. Take a look at the upgrade deals via your My Vodafone page or give them a call 🙂
