Cancel my Sure Signal Order

Last night I ordered a Sure Signal online and today I got an email to say it was out of stock. I have Googled it and it seems that they have been out of stock for a while. My contract is up in August and so there is no point in me waiting for it as I may not stay with Vodafone.

So I called Vodafone today to ask to cancel my order and get a refund and the customer service advisor was pretty much useless. He told me to go into a Vodafone shop to cancel even though I ordered online. It is somewhat awkward for me to get to the nearest shop. So is it possible to cancel my order on here?

If this is possible please email me and I confirm ym order number and all my details.

Thanks

I wish to do the same.

I've so far today made 4 phone calls and twice used the web chat, not to forget the web chat I had last night to try and cancel my order.

Can someone please help. My order number is WEB-0000001487869386.

Also note that Vodafone currently cannot fulfill the order.

Hi there

One of the issues you may have is that it is exceedingly difficult to cancel an order with Vodafone.  You have a very short window during which you can cancel, usually about an hour after it is placed.   Once this time has gone, even if the item is not in stock, you often have to wait until the order is delivered and then return it.  This is of course depending on what stage the order is at in the system.

Just don't sign for it and makes sure everyone in your household are aware of the situation...

This morning I got through to be tiold it has been dispatched, I questioned this as I've not received an email and could not cancel.
Not sure how I stand in not signing for it.

You have 14 days to return it as there is a cooling off period, by not signing for it is fine there is nothing to say you have too...

The Cooling off period is law in the UK on any services which this would be.

Many thanks.
My biggest issue is I'm being told by email from Vodafone it's not in stock but can't cancel the order. Then whilst trying to cancel the not in stock order being told it has been dispatched. Surely not being able to cancel an order that can't currently be fulfilled is wrong and I'm being given incorrect information by at least one channel. Come on Vodafone.

That can only act in your favour:smileywink:

Hi TrevorWotton,

As drey_p has mentioned, we only have an hour window to cancel an order. Any time after this and you'd need to arrange a return after receving the goods.

You can track your order here, this will let you know if it's out for delivery.

Thanks,

Matt B
