Cannot access Internet......

Hi there on Friday I did a sim number transfer my number on a micro sim back to a standard sim to go back in my vodafone 340, I can't get on the Internet though it just says failed to connect, HELP!?

It might be worth having a look here. The "How do I change my Vodafone live! settings if I've moved to pay as you go?" section is probably the one to try.

 

On the last step where it says croll to PAYG WAP, press "Select" see if you can edit this instead of selecting it. You might need to play around with the settings a bit, as the APN you need to use is dictated b y he type of accoun ytou have, but they should be one of the following:

 

internet (if you are a contract/pay monthly customer)

smart (if you're a pay as you go customer on a £5 for 250MB lasting up to 30days plan)

pp.internet (if you're a pay as you go customer on a £15 for 1GB, lasting up to 90 days plan)

ppbundle.internet (if you're a pay as you go customer on a £15 for 2GB lasting up to 30 days plan)

 

Alternatively texting web to 40127 should get the settings sent to yout handset.

It's ok I sorted it, I just changed the APN to contract Internet and it started to work.
