Conference/merge calls on Iphone 6S

I am trying to open 3 way conversations on my Iphone 6S.

When I am on a call, I tap the "add call" button and then my contacts appear.

I then tap any contact and then the active call screen reappears and nothing happens.

I have tried this on my 5S and it works fine, What could be wrong?

What version of iOS are you on? (Settings > General)

I'm not aware of any problems with it recently (although I had a similar issue back in 2014).

Updating the software or restoring the phone on iTunes often helps to iron out glitches like this.

I am on IOS 10.3.1, phone has been restored and I have called 191 and they said it should be working.

@lackof3G When you say you've called 191 and been advised that it should be working, have you tested it out after this time?
