I broke my galaxy s5 so bought a used unlocked one from a independent store. It worked on for a while but then I kept losing network connection and could not connect to 4g. I went into vodafone who tried another sim in the phone and they said it was the phone. I went back to the store and they replaced the phone with another unlocked one and it's still happening. Still won't connect to 4g. I find this strange with two phones. I'm wondering if the phones are maybe bought in another country so somehow different. Or could it possibly be my sim. The model us not the same as my original one from Vodafone but it is an s5 . I'm totally stuck with this.

Hi @Tayjay2001

The first thing to look at are the settings.  If you refer to the link below, you wil be able to find how to get the settings sent by text.  If these do not work, scroll down to device guides.

Help and Support - How do I set up my phone for internet access

If there are still problems, it might be an idea to check the coverage for your area.  This can be done by going to the Coverage Checker at the top of the page or from the link at the bottom.

Live Chat will be able to access your account and make sure there are no restrictions from Vodafone's end.

I've spoke to vodafone and there is nothing from their end and the 4g signal is very strong were we are and I was getting most places with my original phone that's what's so annoying.

Hi,

It has been discussed before that if the phone is an import model then that can cause issues.

Can you try your Sim Card in another phone as a process of elimination to rule out the phone or sim card that may be at fault.

Does this happen everywhere or when at home. I'm thinking it Could be your local masts.

It's definitely not the masts. I've always had great 4g signal till this phone. I'm thinking the phone might be an import! !

Hello,

That's possible.

Can you try your sim card in another phone to test ?
