Hi there,
I wonder if someone could help me. It turns out my 2 year contract was up last month, and as a result, it seems the discounts that were applied to my contract have been rescinded without warning. This has seen my bill on two phones baloon by around 20%. Is this normal?
It has never happened to me before when my contracts have previously lapsed. Usually they just roll on until I upgrade.
I contacted the live chat support, and they just waffled on about phoning for an upgrade. I am no closer to an explanation of why this happened, let alone getting my money back.
I knew my contract was up soon, and was indeed planning on contacting vodafone regarding an upgrade, but I didn't expect any financially punitive measures as a result of not doing it bang on the day my contract ran out.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

What was the outcome? Did they refund the money?
EDIT - I should also add, I didn't think I negotiated a discount as such... they price matched another deal

Yeah, all of it. I upgraded with the eforum team, so all documentation is electronic
I went back and checked all the original emails, they don't mention anyting about it. The closest it says is reference to "Minimum commitment end."

Ended up phoning 191 and getting it sorted. Got my money back
