In June I added a SIM only to my contract. The SIM--only did not work properly despite the best efforts of the helpdesk and the local Vodafone shop. Within the 30-day "dissatisfaction" period I cancelled the SIM-only. The first month's payment was refunded, so I thought that was that.

But then the SIM-only number kept appearing on my monthly invoice and being charged for. 

 

I went into the shop. Very helpful as usual but without access to the bits of the system they needed to resolve things. Spoke to Customer Services on 191 who promised the "back office" would sort it out and be in contact within 7 days (case number CS 00020070099); they haven't been in contact.

 

I emailed the problem from the website and was promised a response in 48 hours (query number 266438). That was a week ago.

 

I have now had 4 x £9.50 STOLEN from my bank account and the Customer Dis-Service department has completely ignored me.

 

My next steps will be to complain to the Communications Ombudsman and to the Trading Standards department in the hope that some body with more clout than a humble customer can wake up the Customer Services Manager at Vodafone who is taking their salary under false pretences.

If you cancelled within the 30 day time limit, Vodafone will still make a pro ratered charge for the time you have had the SIM.

 

If the account has been closed correctly, you will have received a bill with a zero balance. This is very important, the last thing you need are any repercussions.

 

Please use live chat for account access. They will be able to look into this for you.

Assuming you read the whole message you will see I have spoken with Vodafone customer services, and emailed, and been into the shop. What will Livechat add to this?  And what happened to the response within 7 days and within 48 hours? I just want you to stop stealing money from me and refund the 4 months worth already stolen !!!
