Hello,
I've have just switched from EE, as Vodafone promised a better speed at a cheaper price. I will say, the problems I have with my connection I NEVER had with EE. I am using the same mastersocket, the same wired connection to my same PC.
I get DSL Line / Line Drops messages constantly. Many times a day. And often it is a fair amount of time that I lose connection.
I have been in conversation with Vodafone for over an hour and a half doing various tests as well as the below for my own troubleshooting.
(I am running a wired connection)
1. Reboot Router- no change
2. Reset Router - no change
3. Changed all cables ( Microfilter, DSL Line from Microfilter to router, replaced LAN cables (RJ45/CAT5))
4. Left off for several hours, turned back on still nothing
5. Used a different Router.
6. changed and split bands
7. Changed DNS
6. Base Red light keeps flashing
7. Internet Light shows red
8. Wi-Fi light shows green - but asks for you to sign in - leads you to the router page but will not allow sign in due to DSL error.
When online with your support, they said that it was a back-end problem, and would be fixed in 12 hours, but would not tell me any further details. I honestly think he didn't find anything and tried to say that so I would be happy and leave. However, I hadn't told him that the problems have been happening every single day for 2 weeks, not just the time before I called so whatever he was saying did not make sense to a long-term problem.
Any help here would be gratefully received.

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you've been having with these drop outs @DSLDrops and understand why you'd be frustrated.
Thank you for being so thorough and describing all the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. We'll need to access your account to investigate further, so we can do this I've sent you a private message with details on how to get in touch.
We can then run diagnostics on your line and check for possible issues with your router, so we can get everything resolved for you.
