Hi

This is my 2nd month of having my blackberry, and this is the 2nd month i have been overcharged it looks by vodafone and i'm not sure why.

This month i have been charged £27 instead of my usual £10.50 plan.  I've looked at my bill and it says i have been charged £16.50 for outofplan data charges.

I have not used the internet on my phone, and i have not sent picture messages.  What data charges am i being charged for???

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.  I am seriously not happy with this as i had to change my phone to a blackberry because of the terrible phone signal i was getting from vodafone with my other phone!

Sarah

Do you keep mobile data off?because even if you aren't personally using the Internet your applications are by updating and running.

I don't suppose you have any ideas how to turn this off if it is on?? Thanks for the reply

I don't have a blackberry so I don't know, but if you look in your settings there should be an option to switch it on or off. Remember though that unless you're using WiFi you won't get Internet connection whilst mobile data is turned off.

Thanks, Wifii hasn't been on on the mobile because i don't bother using the internet on my phone

I have found the setting now and turned this 'OFF' not sure still why i've been charged so much still though, how annoying

Hi @SARAHZ123

Welcome to the eForum.

You’ll be charged for data if you go over your allowance.

See our data charges for further information.

If you feel you need to add more data to your plan, see our extra packs.

Cheers,

Laura
