I was shocked to learn earlier this afternoon when I got the usual monthly text from VF that my bill is £126.85, compared to the usual £28.80.
This is the first time I have ever apparently gone over the 5GB limit I have on my account since going on to this tarriff last July and it is very odd - no new apps installed on my phone in that time and all app updates done via WiFi. At no point did I receive any text or other indication that I was nearing or had gone over my data limit.
The charges seem to make no sense either - seemingly I had exhausted the 5GB by 20 March, yet on 28 March I was charged nothing for data usage - and on 25 March I was charged 50% less for apparently using more data than I did on 22 March:

I am inclined to dispute this given it leaves me almost £100 out of pocket, but given the experience I had when signing up to this tarriff in July 2016 I am dreading having to have any contact with the customer service centre whatsoever. Has anyone else ever been in this situation, and how did you proceed?

The charges are correct for the period shown.
21 Mar you went over your allowance, so got charged £6.50. Adds 250MB to your allowance. So some of the 298mb usage is from 5GB and rest from 250MB £6.50
22 Mar you use 351mb. So some usage under 250mb of previous and rest from 500MB £13.00
25Mar you use 374mb. So some usage under 500mb of previous and rest from 250MB £6.50
28Mar you use 167MB, that is still covered from 250MB previous.
If you look at the whole month then you will be able see that you went just under 1GB over you 5GB allowance.
Edited: Just read your post again, £100 charge would mean that you have gone over your allowance just under 4GB. If you post your entire month's usage, then can confirm.
