I have a default on my credit file. So i phoned up and have made a payment plan for the full amount owed. This will take 12 months until complete. Ive made 1 payment however on my credit report after its monthly update still stated i owed 511 but i had made a payment of 43? Will Vf not update to show a payment plan is in place and update the amount each month so it shows i am paying? Or will i have to wait until its completely paid off before it will show?
Thank u.

A Defaults Status changes from something similar from 'Outstanding to 'Settled' once fully paid off although the Default itself will remain on the Credit File for 6 years.
When a Payment Plan is agreed to this is also reported on a persons Credit File which can further affect a persons Credit Score.
I would think the owed amount will update and takes around 30 working days ,but there maybe a delay in this doing so as Vodafone themselves cannot update your file but instead inform the Credit Houses who then make the update.
If you speak with Experian they should be able to clarify.
