So the release date is the 11th of March but if you pre-order Samsung says you can benefit by having it 3 days early. Will vodafone honour that? I've pre-ordered mine but the sales guys have no idea when the phones will start to get dispatched.

So wait until you get the delivery notification from DPD, and if it isn't convenient due to your shift work, use their website to bump the delivery to the following day! It's not rocket science.
People can get frustrated with lack of communication or blatent lies. Absolutlely agree that there is little reason to take it out on the advisor your speakiing to however there is little reason for you to become condensending and offensive with somebody where you have no idea of their daily/work commitments. Seek to understand before commenting... Have a nice day :smileyhappy:

Yes you should have ! LIES are not acceptable when we are the ones paying for their miserable salaries! Don't listen to webreaper, he sold his soul to vodafone and his only job on this forum as well as many others, is to pretend they are like us, normal customers, but that they're more patient and kind then us! THEY ARE NOT! They're just idiots that vodafone controls to calm people down on this forum.
As REAL customers, we have the right to be angry when we are not getting any customer service or we are disrespected by the very same company who direct debit us every month! The people on the live chat are disgusting, they lie, they don't care at all because they are located in poor countries (philipines, egypt, india etc...) and I'm sure vodafone doesn't spend that much money in training!
But whatever lack of training, there is no excuse for lying to us just to get rid of us and be able to lie to the next customer!
and I'm sick and tired on this forum of all of you who dear asking us not to be angry. Are you so much better than us? NO YOU ARE NOT!
If I'm paying for a service and getting crap in return, then I will be angry and we are NOT asking for your opinion anyway!

@prodigualson As yet Vodafone have not defaulted on their delivery date it is pretty ridiculous chucking your dummy out of the pram before they do so.
As you are so obviously dissatisfied with Vodafone why not go sim free and buy your own phone from Samsung? = problem solved as you can jump ship at anytime,
Before you say I am just pretending to be patient, wrong, I always buy my phones direct from Apple and have a sim free contract.

We often see posters like this - who assume that Vodafone is evil and lies to them and places fake customers on this website.
None of it is true and we are all real customers here unless the Vodafone logo appears next to someone's name.
Threads like this surface everytime a flagship phone is launched. The truth is that manufacturers are trying to service a global market all at the same time and where and when stock will be is a tough process. I suspect that the network doesn't know exactly what it will get until the last minute. It's a philosophy known as Just in time stocking.
Also manufacturers, whether it be Samsung, Apple or anyone else. often get stock deliveries wrong and frustrated customers have to wait longer than they expect to to get their hands on their precious new phones.

ok fine if you're not in a hurry or don't care that much, but stop trying to guilt people who are in a hurry and stop saying basically that they are so "dumb" because they are very impatient! let them express themselves, let them be whoever they want to be... You're nobody! Just like any of us!
