Delivery date

So the release date is the 11th of March but if you pre-order Samsung says you can benefit by having it 3 days early. Will vodafone honour that? I've pre-ordered mine but the sales guys have no idea when the phones will start to get dispatched.

Well if 11th then this time next week we won't have it. I'm only fretting as I won't be in the 11th so ideally would like it 8th

personally, I'm VERY concerned. Last time I pre ordered from VF incompetent customer service, it was my galaxy S6 edge last year, and I don't know if you remember guys, but it was a sheer torture to get it! They were like 3 weeks late! VF can't be trusted

It doesnt help when most of the US carriers are shipping the phones as we speak. I agree with whats been said above we are on the 2nd March and the launch date is 8-11th March. Thats at least a week away so i dont think we should worry so much because we are not getting updates every day from VF. Give it a week and a half and i'm sure we will all be enjoying our new phones (hopefully).

Also just think how many thousands and thousands of phones that will have to be addressed and delivered. Part of the buzz in pre ordering is to get the phone 3 days before it hits the shops. It would be dissapointing to pre oreder to then get the phone after its actually on sale in the shops.

Careful now. Getting het up about whether you get the phone a day before or after the shop release date puts you dangerously close to the kind of people who waste several hours queuing for a new iPhone.

Seriously, it's a phone. It's basically the same as last year's phone - it's not even groundbreaking. Stop stressing and find something else to worry about for the next week. 😉

One day you'll wake up and itll be bish bash bosh and done... youll get confirmation email and then the phone will come. VF wont want all that stock laying around itll be shipped out as soon as they have it.

The main issue is not that it may come on the 9th instead of the 8th, the issue is that VF lie to us once again! When I took that phone, it didn't say anywhere that it could be between March 8th and 2024, it said MARCH 8th! So I want what I was promised! Every single year, VF do the same thing, it's totally disrespectful toward customers who pay a high price for their crap network! 

The other issue is that I need to be home to get the delivery as we have to sign for it, so I need to know which day it will be in!

If you are aware that every single year the delivery dates are always going to be adjusted depending on the availability of the phone, the efficiency of the carriers and other glitches that any launch encounters why get so worked up?  You will receive an email telling you when it is being delivered so you will know when you need when to be at home.
As for the 'high price for a crap network' obviously there are not many people who think likewise, if there were they would be leaving in droves. We still live in a free country (for now) and the choice is to walk. Even with an emplyees discount if I was getting a 'crap network' a few £'s would not keep me.

When you post on a public forum you will get a response from people giving their views., If you can't handle that then don't post but use the order checker to find the status of your order. Jumping up and down is not going to change anything so relax it is only a phone.

Second, I agree with you, I have the right to give my negative opinion about vodafone on this forum without a bunch of (Removed for security) like you and the other idiot to defend vodafone at all costs! I'm a customer and if I want to be negative about VF, I WILL BE, so there's no need for your stupid comments!

Firstly, the phone launch date is March 11th, so the 8th is always going to be optimistic. Second, if it's anything like when I ordered the phone, they probably told you the same as they told me, ie, the phone will definitely arrive on the 11th but preorder handsets *may* arrive earlier, possibly as early as the 8th.

And lastly, you seem to have a lot of anger and hate for Vodafone. If you think their service is so bad, and that they continually lie to their customers, I can't help but wonder why you continue to give them your custom. Surely if they're so crap, you wouldn't be signing up to another phone/contract with them, but would go elsewhere?!?
