E160 Sim Missing?

seinman
Not applicable
Hi,

I ordered one of these PAYG Mobile Broadband packs from an online retailer and have now received 2 (the original and a replacement) that both do not appear to have SIM's in them. Am I missing something? They were both sealed. Is the SIM supposed to be in the pack in one of the large SIM holders? I have also checked in the devices themselves but no SIM.

Hi seinman,

Welcome to the eForum you've come to the right place and it's an interesting question! Did your order come direct from Vodafone or a third party like Phones4U? If it came from a retailer it would be best to have a chat with them as they should have sent SIM card packs with the mobile broadband dongle. If it came from us give me a shout!

Keep me posted on this and please feel free to drop us a post if you have any further questions we're more than happy to lend you a hand :)

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. They came from Littlewoods Direct (Very). Both were in sealed packging and I assume the SIM should have been in the box, is that correct?

As far as I know, the Payt broadbands come with the sim installed - usually in a metal holder by the usb plug. I dont think retailers do anything to them, theyre sealed by vodafone - unlike contract phones. The sims have the £ 15 credit already on them

Thanks, that's what I suspected. Unfortunately I checked in the holder and there is no SIM, they obviously have a faulty batch.
