Email on Smart Prime 6!

I use email a lot (partner works abroad) having just purchased a SP 6 I could not get anyemails to send at all and only received them sporadically.

So I went into my webmail (BT) account and deleted some very very old emails going back 3 years especially with attachments (bad housekeeper that I was!).  

 

Then the email worked perfectly.  It appears that the email on  my phone was trying to download all my hundreds of old messages and wasn't coping. I am no techie by the way. A laborious job but worth it.  

Have since purchased more memory.  

However I notice on Accounts that it seems you can no longer delete an email account on this phone..(BT have a habit of messing things up then giving you a new password, which means re-opening a new email on account on the phone by deleting the existing one).Thanks Julie

Glad to see your emails working again, maybe you are a little more techie than you realised.
