End of contract on paper different to online

Hi. I have a vodafone contract that i took out as an early upgrade in december 2015. The paperwork i have that they made me sign in the shop states the contract is for 24 months. I have now hit the final month and want to leave vodafone but have been told my contract is for 27 months as i upgraded early last time. Is this correct even though I was told in the shop and my paperwork states 24? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @binkybankyboo

 

If you had upgraded early April 2017, you would have been eligible for a flexi upgrade.  However, as the contract wass taken out December 2015, this would have meant the remaining time left on the previous contract would have been added onto your new contract making the contract 27 months.

Your new contract was 24 months, when you took an early upgrade you were still in contract and had three months to run.   

 

The best thing to do is to contact Vodafone, they will be able to clarify for you.

These instances need to be explained and made crystal clear at the time of Upgrade,  so an informed decision can be made to proceed or not.

The paperwork given by the Store only show 24 months as they only check your Account to see if you are eligible for Upgrade.

You should have reveived an Email about 5 - 10 Days after you signed up for the new contract and that should show the Contract End Date.
