Expecting a suresignal since 3 weeks ago - no sign of it!

Hi,

I wonder if someone in Vodafone can help me with a question. Customer services ordered a suresignal for me over the phone (as part of a deal - complicated situation that at the moment probably doesn't need explaining in full). They said it will be sent out soon. That was 3 weeks ago. I called in 1.5 weeks ago and they said there is no stock, and I'm still waiting.

Is there any stock of this elusive suresignal at the moment? My journey with vodafone has been very very rocky recently to say the least and this really isnt helping. I'm trying to stay with voda but I think at the end of my contract, I'm strongly leaning to the option of leaving. Added to this is the fact that other people on this forum seems to be receiving their boxes so there must be some stock somewhere.

I hope this message finds its way to someone who is able to help and at least can tell me whether there are suresignals in the stockrooms now.

Thanks

There have been a number of reports by people in the same situation so, by inference, the stock situation must be pretty low.

I tracked mine down in a local Vodafone store.

They did give me an option to find one instore, but then said I would have to return the one I would be sent. I apparently can't cancel the existing order as it would interfere with the deal I had made with voda. Its all rather complicated but I wonder if someone can just give me the go-ahead to pick it up instore (as opposed to buy another one instore and then return the ordered one).

Can voda please tell me if I can do this?

Hi domyue,

That's more-or-less what happened in my case. One was supposed to be earmarked for me, but there didn't seem to be any problem with cancelling the delivery.

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately we currently don’t have any stock available of the Sure Signals.

@ domyue,

Due to the process involved in getting one from a store we would need to send some paper work through to the store in order for you to be able to pick one up from the store.

If you would like to discuss this option, please follow the instructions on the PM that I have sent to you and we will be able to look into this for you however, this will depend on if the store have any units available.

You can find your PM inbox here.

James,

When I got mine from the local store the arrangement made with the customer service advisor was that I bought the VSS and my account was credited with the cost.

This worked absolutely fine.

HTH,

So someone called me to let me know they will call/email some stores in london and let me know the outcome later that day. That was last week and no-one has called me back!

Even if there are no stocks, it would be nice for an update. And I cannot understand how demand can be overwhelming stock supply by this much. A month down the line, this is getting more than a little frustrating.

Could someone please address this issue please? Do I have to go through another PM?

Thanks

Hi domyue,

Thanks for coming back to us for an update.

Could you let me know the email reference number so we can track this for you if you've already sent us an email?

Cheers,

LeeH

I've sent an email through the "contact us" portal.

I'm sure other vodafone customers have encountered this: I wonder why certain call centre individuals seem to not know all the options available for refunds/etc and others seem to have the authority to do a lot more. This is calling though the normal 191 number during normal working hours (not off peak/weekends). Its very frustrating for customers. I don't have the time to chase things up all the time and not get the response/reply/action promised on the phone.

I've not received any correspondence from Voda since my last post and my last email with reference to this forum thread.

Wonder if anyone can help still?

And of course, 2 months on, still no sure signal.

I hope vodafone realises what a nuisance this is to put it at its mildest.

I don't think I can handle another contract like this!
