I have updated to this version upon returning home from work this evening. My wireless devices can now see my wired devices and vice-versa, a definite improvement. It remains to be seen if the new firmware has broken anything.
As you say a changelog would be useful, I suppose at some point the router would have noticed the update and loaded it itsself but I don't know how often it checks for updates.
