Anyone know what is going on with this? Been on webchat 3 times this week and been given 3 different answers! One of them said it would be on pre order this week which doesnt look likely, one said no pre order but going on sale 10th and the other said the same but the 17th. They dont have a clue! Only Vodafone and O2 who dont have it available for presale.

Gemma, thanks for replying I actually got it sorted over live chat and received my phone yesterday. How long do I have to add vodafone insurance should I want it?

I ordered mine early last Friday morning, told was in stock , passed all the checks ..finally got confirmation email.

Now its out of stock..despite webstore saying it is in stock.  Warehouse states its out of stock and they dont know when they are getting them in.

Oh the joys of ordering a new phone. So now no idea when it is actually getting delivered/when they will even have it back in stock.  No one I speak to seems to have a clue as to when it will be available

@barryl85  - You have up to 90 days to add insurance from when you purchase or upgrade. Simply pop into one of our stores with your device and they can help you through the process.

 

@fionashepherd - I’m sorry but I don’t have any further information as to when more stock will be available at this time. Once we have more information we will be in touch to keep you informed. Also keep an eye on the order tracker for up to date details.

Nice to see Vodafone sells things they dont actually have in stock despite sales advisers online and over the phone telling me they are in stock when I purchased.

Ridiculous that Vodafone *ie the ones who I have spoken to on the phone, have no idea as to when they're even coming back in.  I mean I could understand if it was some rare phone that has existed for years where stock is hard to source.  But for a phone that is brand new on the market and Vodafone has no stock? And no idea as to when stock will be back in? Ridiculous.

Perhaps Vodafone should stop listing things as in stock when they clearly aren't. 

I phoned on Friday too for an upgrade to a black Note 4. I was told 2-4 working days for delivery. Phoned today and I was told it could take up to 2 weeks! I'd broke my phone so I am currently phone-less! Not happy. 😞

Wow and they're still taking orders from people telling them it's in stock.  It's ridiculous.

Probably be waiting until God knows when for it actually to be dispatched, or rather when Vodafone finally pull their fingers out of their [Removed as per house rules] and honour peoples orders/ stop telling people something is in stock, when it is not, just to get sales.

I was told on Monday that it should be back in stock Thurs so should receive it Friday. Likely another lie.

I phoned last Wednesday to upgrade and was told it was out of stock. If I phoned Thursday to check if they had new stock I'd receive the phone quicker than pre ordering. They didn't have any Thursday so I pre ordered and was told it would take 3 - 4 days. I was told today that they still have no stock and are waiting on samsung but it shouldn't be more than 48 - 72 hours. 

I read somewhere Vodafone receive their stock on a Thursday morning. So fingers crossed we might all actually get our orders finally.  Not hopeful though.

You would have thought with such a new phone they would of had ample stock to meet demands.

I called on the Friday last week (*they said it was in stock*) and ordered as i am a existing customer and just adding it as a second line I though it would have been quick, but sadly not.

So fingers crossed it will be sent out tomorrow.

Wish I had read this before I upgraded this afternoon.  Was assured that I would recieve the Note 4 on Friday, half an hour later had a text to say it is out of stock and I'll be contacted again in 3 days!

 

Disappointing as I originally intended to leave Vodafone and asked several times about whether it was actually in stock ready for delivery but was persuaded to stay by what seemed like a good deal.


No doubt we will all get the standard response about delivery/stock and ensuring to check the 'track your order' link.  I would honestly be happy for an approximation of any kind, just so I have some kind of idea. I promise not to hold you to it.

When I spoke to live chat on Monday, the adviser said they would have stock by Thursday. He was the only one out of all of whom I spoke to on live chat/even telephone advisers that have said that.  The rest have been oblivious about as to when their stock will arrive or even if any has been ordered. Left in the dark or what.

You'd think we weren't paying customers...
