I have a Vodafone Smart Prime 6 phone.
Google Cardboard will not load as it says my device is not compatible,
Is this true ? and if so why ?

Hi,
I believe it's something to do with the sensor in the phone.
Here's a thread I looked at from Reddit
"Cardboard works with most modern Android phones. Phones need to be running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) or above. Ideally they should support NFC too. Here is a list of the phones we've tested that are compatible with Cardboard." From https://dodocase.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203453464-Will-Cardboard-work-with-my-phone-

No. When I tried to load it from Google Play, it says that the phone is not compatible. Any way to byepass this and force it to install. ?

Thanks. The vodafone Smart Prime 6 is certainly a modern Android phone and in Street View I can press the Lookaround Button so that it responds to phone movements ( rather than swiping the screen ) . So, strange that it does not support Cardboard.

Hi @Brooksbank
I'm still looking around at the Vodafone Smart Prime 6 specifications but I think the possible issue is the seemingly lack of a gyroscope sensor.
