HTC One Max still on android 4.2.2

I have had my One max for a while now and thought it had updated to android 4.3 but it appears I'm stuck on 4.2.! Any ideas if it's getting an upgrade as Ivd had the HTC Sense 6 upgrade. I am having accelerometer problems on soe games which is apparently a problem with 4.2 so would like the upgrade asap.

Hi Bagbear63,

Any updates will sent through to your phone directly, you’ll also be able it check for updates by looking in the setting on the phone.

Cheers,

Thank you for your swift reply Laura. I know the updates are automatic however I wasn't expecting a £47 a month phone on a 4G network to be locked to the network thus making me wait at least 6 months past the actual release of the updates by Android. On top of that, Vodafone don't tell you it'll cost £20 to "unlock" the phone so you can get the updates on time. It also installed unimaginable crap apps I don't need...ie the stock browser has been hijacked by Vodafone and is useless thus you have to use Chrome. All I want to know is if and when we are going to see the update.

Unlocking the phone will not get you the update, you would need to unlock the bootloader and install a different ROM which Vodafone state invalidates your warranty
