HTC One Mini 2 - mic problem

I recently upgraded to a HTC Mini One 2 but when making/receiving calls no-one can hear me. I have put the phone into a store for repair and was given a courtesy phone but I have the same problem. Is this SIM card related?

Hi there

 

It could be a SIM card issue or it could be network related.  Does this happen in one particular area?

If you are able, it may be worth trying in a different area.  If that doesn't work, try getting a new SIM card.
