Initially Vodafone sent me the royal mail return pack which was declined at the post office and I've been waiting over a week for a dpd return pack now which I was told would arrive last week. Surprise surprise, no sign of it! Really ##~## off with Vodafone and their customer service, soon as I get this returned and get a refund I'm done with this network! Has anyone had any joy returning the note 7 and getting a refund?

@Louise_p so finally i have been reverted to my pre upgrade contract but despite all the assurances that "everything would be as before", "it will be as if you had never upgraded" Vodadone have screwed that as well. I now have the bundle but have an agreement end date of Aug 2018 and an upgrade date of Jun 18. So you seemed to have locked me into another two year contract......Yep and the extras I had included for the past two years have disappeared and who knows what is now set for Euroeoan Roaming...any chance someone in the Vodafone team could confirm........

Hi Louise,
Week later and still waiting for someone to call me. I raised a complaint via your online form but no email confirmation after 48 hours. Would it just be easier for me to take a day off and hand deliver my Note 7 to your returns department? I think it will be cheaper in the long run.

I finally managed to get rid (I don't say return anymore) of my note 7 by going into a Vodafone store. after more false promises from the Vodafone team on the phones and by the tech team in this forum of my situation being sorted I rang customer services last night to say as of today i do not have a contract with you anymore and I'm cancelling my direct debit. The guy on the end of the phone said he would ensure that i could return it to a Vodafone shop on Saturday and rang through to the resolutions team to make this happen. The resolutions team then put a note on my account in block capitals to say that the store had to take the return as I kept pointing out I had already been in store once and was refused.
I went into the Vodafone shop today with my note 7 and as expected was told i couldn't return it through the store so I told them to look at my account and that they would see that they had no choice but to take it. After 30 mins of phone calls between the store manager and the resolutions team they finally ended up taking the note 7 off me and arranging with DPD to collect it from their store.
My advice if you are still having problems is to ring up the customer services team and tell them you are cancelling the account and direct debit. Then speak to the resolutions team to say you will return it to a store but they must put a note on your account so the store can see they have to accept it as the store will try their hardest not to accept it. if you go into the store and they are still not prepared to accept it just ring 191 whilst in the shop and they will soon be told to accept it.
Even though it’s gone I’m still not expecting it to go smoothly though as she scanned the imei number from the Vodafone promotional packaging box that included the VR inside it. Since I’ve already swapped the note once from the first recall that imei number is no longer valid. When I pointed this out and said she should really scan the phone box inside the promo box as it has the correct imei number she said don’t worry it will be fine.......nothing is ever fine with Vodafone!!
Anyway I’m ringing up midweek to make sure they have received the phone, get my PAC code and then after 15 years I’m off to a new provider.

Hi @teknokat
I'm sorry to hear about this experience with Vodafone, I understand your frustration at the trouble you've had returning the Note7.
