Can anyone tell me the address for the Vodafone credit file support team please. There is a default on my account and I am not able to speak to anyone always getting disconnected or customer support team not able to identify my account.
I dont have an account anymore due to poor customer service and how difficult it has been to arrange a payment plan to resolve they payment issues.
I discovered the default when I was applying for a credit card, as soon as I checked my credit report, my account was passed to debt collection agency and I made the payment as soon as possible of £432.00,
Not once Vodafone contacted by telephone, email or post.
When I did make the contact I was told to pay all in full, which I was not able to at the time due to personal circumstances.
I gather the Mobile Phone companies are not regulated by the Consumer Act 1974 and therefore are not required by law to send an official default warning letter.
However, there was an official contract in place between Vodafone and myself and this therefore is covered by Contract Law. Clearly there was a 'breach of contract' and therefore Vodafone was lawfully obliged to send notice of this breach, and to have given a reasonable amount of time for the breach to be remedied however this was not the case.
Clearly Vodafone has not followed the official guidelines set out by Contract Law and therefore the Default is unlawful and should be removed.
If anyone can provide the correct address and department I can send the letter to will be great.
