Help changing Sim to Micro-Sim

Hi. My father has a SIM only contract with vodaphone.

He was given a new phone and a smart watch for Christmas both of which require a micro SIM card and his current SIM is the older larger type.

How can we get these changed over?

My father has cancer and we don't live that close so a round trip could take a few hours.

On previous visits instore we have had to wait long periods of time before being seen and this can result in us being there for a few hours too.

It's just to much for him to be able to cope with.

Is there anyway we can do this online or via telephone?

I'm his daughter and carer. I could collect for him if possible?

I took the advice above and popped into the Bury St Edmunds store today and picked one up.

Hi

First check his current sim isn't a multi type sim where they push out of one another. 

If not then you can ask customer services on 191 specifically for a Blank SIM Card. It has to be a Blank one. 

Then he can then sim swap online.

The best cleanest option is a visit to the Vodafone Store. 

Most smartwatches pair to the phone via an app. 

Those that use a sim card do so with another standalone sim. A person cant have two working sim cards with the same number.

You're very welcome. 

My Samsung Gear s2 Classic Watch hooks up to my s8 via Bluetooth and an App. 

Some smart watches do hold the ability to insert a sim card but then the sim has to be of a separate account. 

Some hold Sd Memory Cards too.
