How do you actually tell your Sure Signal (v3) is working?

Hi, really noddy question but interested in the answer. Reason for the question - all the lights are as they should be but I only get one bar on the phone.

it's connected to a BT SMart Hub and my phone is an iPhone 6S. I'm a business customer so can't use 'My Vodafone'; and been assured the number is registered.

Welcome any advice as surely should get better than one bar! Thanks.

Excellent, thanks for the prompt response. Just made a call and watched the lights!!! Everything seems to be in order.
