Hi,
I've purchased a Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 handset in Nov of last year and it has developed a problem with the screen where I can no longer use it.
I just spent and hour on hold with Vodafone "support" to be told that PAYG handsets only have a months warranty! Does so that sound correct?
Thanks

No it isn't right.
They have a 24 month warranty.
When-I-buy-a-device-from-Vodafone-how-long-does-the-warranty-last.
This wouldn't cover issues caused by a drop or water damage.
Any vodafone store can send it away for it to be looked at.
However perhaps try try a factory reset or hard reset first after creating a back up to preserve your data.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, I don't know how the hell the so-called support gets away with things like this, it's disgusting!
Unfortunatley, I tried the hard reset and it didn't make any difference.
I assume it would be ok to take the phone into a store even though I bought it through the Vodafone website?
Many Thanks

Yes you'll be able to take it iin to a Highstreet store.

Tip
Take Time / Date stamped pictures of the device to show the condition you sent it back in and one of it turned on.
Create a back up beforehand as they will most probably flash the firmware.
"Also make sure when sending your device for repair that you keep hold of your SIM. You also shouldn't send your memory cards, battery and/or back cover (if they're removable) - if these are included with your phone when it goes for repair we can't guarantee their return."

Hi there
Nope, that is not correct. All new phones that Vodafone supply come with a 24 month warranty whether supplied on PAYG or Pay Monthly.
