I can't play videos?

I have a Vodafone Smart Ultra 6, and I've had it less than a month but for some reason I can't play videos on it anymore? They won't work on any of my social networking apps, and I've tried using the internet rather than apps to load them but nothing is working at all. Why is it doing this all of a sudden, and how can I fix it?

Hi

I would suggest looking through the settings of the phone again if you already have.

Delete the Apps and reinstall- ensure no setting for the apps have been changed which could hinder video play.

Try downloading another app for playing videos from your App Store.

Also sometimes when a phone is glitching with no obvious issues found then creating a back up to preserve the information in the phones storage memory , remove any Sd card if applicable and then performing a Factory reset can help.

There's a small possibility that this is a resource issue.   How much storage space is there left on the device?   You could also try clearing recent apps and app caches.  The former is via the square icon at the bottom of the screen, the latter should be an option in the main Settings menu under Storage.

If there's not much storage space left, consider deleting any content you don't need and apps you don't use.   If you don't already have one, consider an external sd card for things like music and photos.

If all else fails, you may need to do a factory reset, but let's see if we can avoid that.
