Hello Vodafone UK Community;
I bought a iPhone 3GS 5 years ago from Vodafone UK, and I update the IOS then the iPhone 3Gs doesn't open. It says that; "iPhone could not be activated." Then I call Apple Services and ask them this problem with my IMEI number. Besides, they said that "It's about SIM LOCK. You can tell to the Vodafone for this problem, they can find an easy solution."
That's all, please help me.

Hello;
It's iPhone 3Gs. I updated this phone to 6.1.3 and then the phone can't be opened. I cannot enter any setting because the phone is stuck on the apple activation screen. I talked with Apple Customer Service and they said that Vodafone UK can open the SIM LOCK for me.
I'm living in Istanbul/Turkey now and I cannot communicate with you another platform. Please help me.
I can give you my IMEI number.

Hi @ferreuo
We’ll need to make sure that the request for the unlocking code if requested via our network unlocking code form, the request will need to be submitted by the original owner of the phone.
As you’re outside the UK we’re unable to promise that this will work.
For further information on this, see our network unlocking FAQ’s.
Cheers,
Laura
