Inclusive Roaming Data

JohnWB
4: Newbie

I have a Red Bundle which says I can enjoy

Unlimited calls, text and picture messages across 40 european destinations also a 500m of data allowance.

Does that mean if i go to Italy I wil have unlimited calls, text and picture messages plus the 500m of data even though don't have picture messages on my Red Bundle.

Hi @JohnWB

Exactly.

Its quite amazing, you have unlimited picture messaging to use in European destinations but get charged extra to use the service in the UK.

The only thing to watch will be data usage whilst away and use WiFi where possible, 500mb can quickly be used.

I can confirm what @AnnS has posted, on a recent trip to Spain I was able to send picture messages back to the UK and was not charged.

Yes, Unlimited Calls/SMS/MMS and Limited Data.

While Roaming you can call/SMS/MMS any country in Euro Zone for free as well. While in UK you call only Call/SMS for free to UK Numbers. In UK Data is more than Euro.

Yes it does sound really Ridiculous (if that is what Op trying to point out) but it is true.

Thanks for that, a nice supprise

Another nice feature you get whilst roaming that you don't get here in the UK is the ability to make calls to European countries and them be free (well come out of your allowance anyway).

So from the UK, you'll be charged £1 per minute to call other Europe (unless you buy a bolt on for cheaper rates or one for X amount of minutes).

The minute you're roaming, theyr'e included and I don't just mean within the country you're roaming in (e.g. calling a Spanish number whilst roaming in Spain).

It was nice to be able to roam in Portugal and call numbers in Greece and have them come out of my inclusive minutes.

But the minute you land back in the UK, it all becomes chargable again. If I lived in Dover, I'd be hanging around the white cliffs trying to pick up signal from France before making an international call. 🙂
