Incorrect location

Hi,

Or suresignal seems to have the wrong location associated with it as google maps gives anyone connected to it a location that is about 200miles away! The location is not any address that has every been associated with the account, and the dashboard has the correct postcode set.

It is definitely the SureSignal that is causing the issue as when phones are set to 2G only (i.e. to not connect to the SureSignal), the location-finding is correct.

Is there any way to update this as services that utilise geodata (e.g. If-this-then-that) don't work in this location.

Thanks,

Matt

I had the same problem when I moved my suresignal from one house to another. I left my phone on with Google maps open and gps on for a couple of hours, as they do report back to update location of found mobile cells and wifi networks when on gps. No problem since.

@friedy – Please test changing the post code (through the dashboard) to a different address and then back to the correct one.

Thanks,
