Hi everyone, I would appreciate if someone could help me with this question.
On my monthly bill it shows that I'm paying for 2 types of insurance. One being Vodafone Insurance band 2 for £6.99 a month and the other being Vodafone Covered Tier 2: Accidental Damage
inc. Tablets_ACE for £5.00 a month.
Am I paying too much and do I only need the one insurance? If not, can someone tell me what's the difference between these types of insurance?
Thanks

Hi @glesnir
Having insurance on a mobile phone is very much a personal preference.
These devices can be expensive if broken by a drop or water damage to replace or if lost or stolen.
Some Bank Accounts actually have Mobile Phone cover as a perk of the Account with no monthly fees and just an excess fee to pay.
Household insurance can give cover too.
Some people prefer these options because if the worst happens they typically replace with a brand new phone.
Other types of insurance replace with a refurbished model.
Regarding your current insurance some information in this link.
Vodafone Insurance information.
Under the Tab What's Covered.
"Excess: Tier 1 phones - £60 excess fee for each successful claim
Excess: Tier 2 phones - £50 excess fee for each successful claim"
I would suggest speaking with customer service on 191 or Live Chat for further information..
