Vodafone is just a joke, i just recently smashed my iPhone and went to the Vodafone shop to claim off the insurance to be told that my insurance has been canceled because I have claimed 3 times in the past 12 months! they said I got the letter in novermber saying it was getting canceled on the 22nd of December, but I never seen the letter,I upgraded to the iPhone 6 plus on the 19th of December and took out insurance because really bad with phones, but no one told me when I was upgrading that my insurance was getting canceled 3 days later and if I knew that I couldn't get insurance I would of just took a contract out on a different network! I have been told by the customer service team to just go and buy a second hand phone, why should I when you made me believe that my phone was going to be insured throughout my contract, is that being miss sold?

Did you call up and register your new device with the Vodafone Insurance?

If you didn't do this then you wouldn't be covered.

No I never phoned up because I've never done that before and no one tells you to, I have been on the phone to the insurance and theirs nothing they can do because on their system it says I got a letter which I never got saying my insurance was getting canceled. So I said this to Vodafone but they can't quite grasp that if I was told on the 19th of December that I couldn't get insurance when I was upgrading I wouldn't of took out the contract. am not wanting to cancel it I just want them to take resonibility for them not informing me that it was getting canceled but still added the insurance to my account so that made me think I was insured throughout my contract. So atleast they could do is fix my phone for the mix up.
