Interaction between phone on talk mobile network and phone on vodafone network

My wife has an iphone 4s on Talk Mobile network(which I think isVodafone) I have just bought Vodafone Smart  First 6 phone. We have found that if I add or delete some contacts from my phone it adds or deletes the same contacts from her phone.Similarly if she adds or deletes some contacts , they are added or deleted from mine. Any ideas why?

Yes, we do share the same email address, but our phone contacts are not the same as our email contacts.

But clearly the issue is relating to a sync between the contacts on the phones and the email account. You need separate email accounts and the problem will disappear.

Do you both use the same PC without having separate accounts on the computer and have the contacts synronised ?

We use same pc but phone contacts are not identical to pc contacts
