Ipad2 unlock code

Hi 

I requested a unlock code for my ipad2 and recieved this reply

 

Dear Customer,

Reference Number: [Removed]
Mobile Number: [Removed]
IMEI Number: [Removed]
We are unable to provide an unlocking code as this is not a valid Vodafone UK device.

I bought this this in July from a company using it on Vodafone. I’ve also used it on a Vodafone payg Data sim.

can you explain why this is not a valid uk device as its locked to Vodafone?

i still requirethis unlocking.

Hi @Xpetop

 

As this is a public forum I'd advise you to edit your post to remove your devices details etc. 

Sometimes if a device has been supplied by another outlet then they may not have updated Vodafone fully on its details. 

If you call 191 they should be able to help and if necessary they can escalate this to the Vodafone Nuc Unlocking Department or provide you with their email address.

Hi Xpetop,

 

I would recommend you either speak with Customer Service on 191 or on Webchat to discuss this further. 

 

If Vodafone have the device under the account that your sim is attached to then this should be a simple request.
