Is Vodafone going to support the iPad and does it have a microSIM?

I was wondering if Vodafone are going to support the iPad 3G when it launches in the UK?

If not, does Vodafone have a microSIM that can be used to access 3G on the device?

As with all Apple products, they are supported by Apple direct. As for if it will accept a Vodafone sim, yes, it will come unlocked to accept all sim cards from all networks.

Only if those sim cards are of the 'micro' variety otherwise you will not be able to just swap your sim from your phone into this

Hi there Midnightz!

The iPad does indeed look fantastic - I'm planning on getting a 3G one myself! :P

In terms of our part in supporting it in the UK, we have had no official word yet on our involvement here in the UK, but I imagine news on this front will come from Apple first, as opposed to carriers.

Micro SIM's do sound like the future though - cutting down on production costs for starters!

When we know more, we'll let you know.

Hopefully sooner rather than later.

I hope vodafone lead the way here as well. Also in terms of providing other tablet platforms such as the HP slate.
