Issue with phone

hi,
My iPhone 6 looses signal and wifi all the time. Even when I am with other people with same phone and Vodaphone. I turn off the device and then on again and it works fine for a while. Then a few hours later the same thing. I have latest software and have tried the reset by holding off key and button key on the phone. My phone is around 4 months over. I need to send it in for repair. Oh, please don't advise me to speak to 'live' help. It says 24/7 but I have tried for days.

Thanks
P

Hi,

One option is to try a simswap which moves your tariff and number to a new sim just incase yours is failing. Any Vodaphone highstreet shop can do this or ask customer services to post you a new sim and perform the simswap yourself via Vodaphone's online form. Link to action Can be supplied if required. If you do this via a shop take some Photo ID just incase to prove who you are.

As process of elimination can U try ure Sim in another phone2 rule out either the Sim/Phone which may be at fault.

If your sim does not work properly then go for the sim swap.

If it does work ok then if you have an  store local make an appointment via https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/ and take the iPhone to them. They'll run a diagnostic and if it's the iPhone they typically resolve it inhouse by swapping it out in store or by software.

If you go this route please make a back up to iCloud and or iTunes to help preserve your data so you can use that back up to replace your data back into the iPhone.

If you don't have an  store local then you'll need to speak to Vodaphone's Customer Service.

Good luck. 😎
